Inspired by the Integrative Practice module as part of the Master’s program organized by the Alef Trust, I decided it would be a wonderful idea to share the fundamentals of integrative practice locally within my community. The larger vision is that of a cultural fractal of inspiration that will not only inspire the initial participants, but also their friends and their friends’ friends, leading to a more conscious, integral, and harmonious community.

Following generous funding, we are able to offer this project—part of the global Conscious Community Project initiative (to everyone who wishes to benefit from this practice—subject to available spots).

To facilitate the above, over the course of ten weeks, we aim to first introduce participants to the theoretical toolkit of integrative practice, and then venture out each week to discuss and practice each of the five modalities: physical, emotional, intellectual-cognitive, interpersonal, and spiritual.

After the sixth week, we will offer participants the opportunity to co-create the following three weeks of practice and discussions in a participatory manner. Among many other things, we will practice yoga and breathing techniques, discuss lucid dreaming, engage interpersonally in circle discussions, and learn meditation practices, as well as various exercises to stimulate the cognitive modality.

Last but not least, during the final two weeks, we will give participants the chance to present the personal integrative practice they have developed, or to share why they choose not to continue engaging in an integrative practice journey.

The partners for this course will be Quantum Civilization, Om Space, and Organic Movement. The weekly sessions will usually take place on Saturdays for three hours.

The entire team is looking forward to seeing how this integrative practice research project unfolds. Our hope is to inspire as many people as possible to know themselves and develop their being across as many of these modalities as possible.

We believe this will serve as an important step in a much-needed developmental process, given the context of the highly segmented education most of us received growing up. As conscious human beings, we can undertake this process for the sake of the community, the planet, and our own well-being.

About the Facilitators:

Victor Jivanescu – Lead Facilitator and Organizer (Alef Trust) Victor holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford and is currently completing his second year of a Master’s in Consciousness, Spirituality, and Transpersonal Psychology with the Alef Trust. He worked in strategic consulting before embarking on a journey of personal discovery and traveling extensively in Nepal to train in various meditation systems and techniques, as well as to understand the local Nepalese and Tibetan culture. In 2017, he co-founded the NGO Quantum Civilization to help spread awareness of integral concepts, integral education, and integral research in Romania. Since then, he has organized workshops, courses, and other events around the fields of critical thinking, cognitive biases, meditation, consciousness studies, philosophy, and the application of technology to inner development.

Ramona Todor – Facilitator and Assistant (Quantum Civilization NGO) Ramona studied Electrical Engineering at the undergraduate level and is currently a Master’s student in Philosophical Counseling and Consultancy in Timișoara. She co-founded Quantum Civilization and has since written content for the website and facilitated workshops and events focused on meditation, philosophy, critical thinking, and intimacy. She practices meditation, shamanic journeying, and Yoga, and has undergone an initiation in facilitating women's circles, learning from places like Nepal and through various people about ways we can apply these practices. By becoming aware of the preconceptions she held regarding elements such as connection, healing, and identity, she saw how prevalent they are and how beneficial it is to look beyond constructs, attachments, and roles to find the balance between mind, heart, and spirit, and between freedom and responsibility.

Simona Skøttrup Fironda – Facilitator (OM Space - Organic Movement) With many years of experience in the field of movement, Simona has a deep understanding of bodywork. She started with circus and partner acrobatic training, thereby discovering yoga and evolving toward a more holistic approach—using breathwork, meditation, and shamanism to apply her knowledge of the connection between body, mind, and spirit. When it comes to her education, driven by a thirst for knowledge, Simona traveled the world for over three years, living in various Ashrams and learning from different cultures to find her inner calling. Her studies include 100h AcroYoga, 200RYT Hatha Yoga and Pranayama, 300RYT Vinyasa Yoga and Breathwork, and 500RYT Kaula Tantra Yoga, Meditation, and Shamanism.
